It is our goal at Insight Foodservice Consultants to provide our clients with an independent, positive and integrative experience while presenting them with an exceptional design that exceeds their expectations.

Our foodservice design team work closely with each client and their preferred design team to identify their individual needs and ideas and help bring them to reality.  With the given budget in mind, we strive for creativity in our design solutions in order to maximize efficiency that best suit the operational needs of our clients within the given spatial parameters. We are not affiliated with any one manufacturer or supplier of equipment therefore we carefully select each piece of equipment with consideration of client budget, functionality, menu and energy efficiency.

Once approved by the Client, our foodservice design team will develop the kitchen plans into working construction drawings and obtain approval from the local Environmental Health Officer. Our design team incorporates the latest trends in food service design, incorporating functionality and flow into each and every project.

Our design team is in constant communication with the client and entire design coordinating plan details as the project develops. This is essential in order to ensure a seamless and successful project from start to finish and help ease the mind of the Client as they watch their project come to life.

Our Service Offering

Design Brief

First step - Establish a comprehensive design brief in consultation with the client. This enables us to provide a concept design which ensures a catering and service facility, tailor made to the individual requirements of the project partners.

Detailed Design Plans

Having established a concept design our cad drawings are progressed to include the following: Kitchen layout; equipment scheduling and speciation, storage solutions; waste management; drainage, grease trap details, Mech. & Elec. requirements and staff changing facilities.

HACCP Compliance

Through liaising with the appropriate Environmental Health Officers, and submitting all designs for approval, we ensure compliance with all Health Service Executive legislative requirements.

Specifications

We provide detailed equipment specifications which relate directly to the final catering design. Our specifications are performance based, and are independent of any brand or supplier. We also include recommendations for finishes to walls, floors and ceilings.

Tendering Process

Drawings, elevations, equipment specifications are included in our tender package. We complete a thorough tender analysis based on adherence to the original specifications.

Liaison With Design Team

Throughout the project, Insight Foodservice Consultants are available to liaise with the design team and catering equipment supplier, for clarification to ensure the smooth running of the project.
